Every skin type is unique. Patch testing is recommended before first use.

Patch Test

• Lather a small amount of soap with water
• Apply to the inner wrist or inner arm
• Rinse thoroughly and pat dry
• Wait 24 hours and monitor for irritation

If redness, itching, burning, rash, or irritation occurs, discontinue use. Avoid direct contact with eyes. For external use only. Patch testing is especially important for sensitive skin, children, and anyone trying a new product for the first time.

Soap Care

• Keep soap dry between uses
• Use a draining soap dish
• Do not allow bars to sit in standing water

Because these soaps are handmade in small batches, color, scent, shape, and texture may vary slightly. Each bar is approximately 1 oz.

Wet skin and lather the soap between hands, washcloth, or cleansing cloth. Massage gently onto the face or body, then rinse thoroughly and pat dry. Follow with your preferred Donata Skinfood moisturizer, balm, salve, or body butter while skin is slightly damp.

Suggested Use:

• Use Spinach Soap when skin feels dry, delicate, or in need of a gentle cleanse.
• Use Pine Tar Soap when skin needs a deeper, clarifying cleanse.
• Use Turmeric Soap when skin looks dull, oily, or in need of a refreshed glow.

To extend the life of each bar, keep soap dry between uses and store on a draining soap dish. We have Wooden Soap Dishes available. For first-time use, introduce one soap at a time so you can see how your skin responds.
